FAQ
Questions, answered.
From Desi weddings to editorial commissions — a few things people often ask.
- What do you actually photograph?
- Honestly, a bit of everything. Weddings, editorials, maternity, families, portraits — if there's a story in it, I want to be there. I don't really believe in picking one niche and sticking to it.
- Do you shoot Desi and Indian weddings?
- Yes, and they're really close to my heart. With my own Indian roots, Desi weddings feel like home to me — Mehndi, Haldi, Sangeet, Anand Karaj, Nikah, the long reception nights. I love all of it and I'd happily travel for it.
- Where are you based and do you travel?
- I'm based in Oslo, but I travel often. Most of my work outside Norway is in Europe, the US, the Middle East and India — but if the project feels right, I'll get on the plane.
- Do you still shoot on film?
- Yes, always. I shoot digital and 35mm film side by side. The film rolls are usually where the softer, more nostalgic frames come from — the ones that feel like a memory you already had.
- How do I book you?
- Easiest way is through the contact page — just tell me the date, where it is and a little about what you're planning. I read every message myself and get back within a few days with availability and pricing.
- Has your work been published anywhere?
- Yes — my work has been featured in Vogue and Elle, which still feels a bit surreal. Most of what I do is for couples, families and brands I genuinely care about, and that's really where my heart is.
